An “All-Nighter” is a familiar concept to the ad industry - which is what made it the perfect format for the 24-hour live-streamed webathon designed to save the ADCC. As a result of the current economic landscape of the industry, the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) was forced to cancel this year’s ADCC awards show - its main source of revenue.
The event ran from July 10 to 11 and consisted of various events, such as live “creative battles,” a session on how to start an agency and a spotlight on some of the top creative pieces over the ADCC’s 72-year history. Karen, along with some other amazing creative folks, was invited onto a panel focused on The Top 10 Ads in Canada.
Overall the event was a smashing success. It generated more $71,000 – far exceeding the $50,000 needed to save the ADCC. It’s still not too late to donate - click here.
